Hike 3km along the route to reach the Gold Mine complex. Enter safe ancient shafts with helmets, see quartz veins Romans mined, and try gold panning in the wadi. Lunch in the shade of a 1,800-year-old Roman fort. Your Egyptologist guide decodes inscriptions and tells stories of miners, soldiers, and desert tribes.
